OLD MARA UNDUK PHOTO

"Mara Unduk" (black & white photo) from an old local paper circa 1997. Photo was taken by Mar Cortez, and published in a local tourist brochure in the same year.

The original photo graced the walls of the Marinduque airport lounge together with other photos of Marinduque landscapes, industries and people. Then it disappeared.

After 10 years of disappearance, a huge tarpaulin print of said photograph resurfaced during the inauguration of Gov. Carrion - as backdrop for both sides of the stage. It was reproduced from the miniature copy (size as big as a thumprint), that saw print in the 1997 tourist brochure.
